These multiple recognitions at the CAA Awards 2026 reflect the breadth of contemporary architectural practice and education in Bangladesh, particularly in environmental responsibility, social impact, humanitarian response, urban regeneration, and community development. Together, these achievements demonstrate that architectural ideas rooted in local realities and social needs can make a meaningful contribution to the international architectural discourse.

At a time when climate change, rapid urbanization, housing shortages, and social inequality are becoming increasingly urgent global concerns, the work of Bangladeshi architects and students is bringing the experiences and perspectives of the country into a wider conversation. Sthapattya O Nirman extends its sincere congratulations to all the Bangladeshi architects, practices, institutions, and students recognized at the 2026 CAA Awards.
